The Aldwych is Sanders' premium penny loafer, built on their classic last using a buttseam welt — a construction that positions the welt stitch at a right angle to the upper, producing a lower-profile, cleaner finish than a standard Goodyear welt. The upper is full-grain calf leather with a full leather lining and a leather sole, handmade in Northamptonshire to the standard Sanders has maintained since 1873.
