Saphir Médaille d'Or Pâte de Luxe is the hard-wax complement to the 1925 Creme range — a pure shine product with higher carnauba concentration that builds surface shine faster and holds it longer.

Mahogany is the shade for red-brown leather — chestnut-toned calf, warm antique-brown brogues, and any leather in the red-brown register that sits between cognac and oxblood. It is a more characterful shade than standard medium or dark brown, associated with well-aged English leather and the distinctive warmth of a properly cared-for brogue in autumn. The Pâte de Luxe in Mahogany maintains this warm, red-inflected brown without pulling towards burgundy or losing the characteristic warmth of the shade.

• Leave for 2–3 minutes, then buff with a natural horsehair brush in long strokes
